Affiliate program
Do you have an affiliate program?
Yes, we do. Nighon pays you between 60% and 75% of the bidded amount of keywords. You will also earn 5% of your referrals earnings. Nighon will pay you once your balance has reached $5.00, directly to your PayPal or MoneyBookers account. We will not pay through any other payment method. Please read this FAQ as well as our terms before signing up. By signing up you agree to follow the rules stated in our FAQ and terms, and accept that breaking these rules will result in deletion of your account.
Does it cost anything to become an affiliate?
No, our program is free to join. By becoming an affiliate you are able to earn yourself a residual income every month.
Am I allowed to have more than one affiliate account?
No! Only one account is allowed per computer, person, IP, household, physical address, PayPal account or MoneyBookers account. All of these will be traced to ensure the originality of each account. If we find any of these to be duplicate between 2 or more accounts, all will be deleted and all accumulated earnings in these accounts will be forfeited.
Do you have any additional rules I should keep in mind when signing up?
Yes, we do have additional strict rules that need to be followed, to guarantee the quality of our program to advertisers, as well as the stability of our program to affiliates. You may not sign up through an open proxy. Unlike traffic, we do allow our affiliates to come from all over the world, so please don’t lie about your country of residence. We can see where you are from, by tracing your IP, and any affiliate we find who entered false information will be deleted from our program. You need to enter complete information. Incorrect or incomplete filled in personal information is unacceptable and will result in deletion of your account. Everybody has a zip-code, everyone lives in a house with a number, so make sure you fill in all fields truthfully when you sign up. This also includes both a first and a last name and a payment method. All information entered should be YOUR information, including the address of your own payment processor account. If you don't have your own payment processor account available and would like to receive your payment through someone else's account, contact us first to ask for approval.
Affiliates
I just joined your program. When I log into my account, I see "Status: pending". What does that mean?
Before you are able to promote our program, Nighon has to review your account and accept your application to join. All applications are checked for complete and correct information and will be denied if any information is missing or incorrect. All applications should contain a website url if you would like to place our searchbox on your site.
In my account I see a "membership level". What does this mean and how do I move up one level?
These membership levels are a way for Nighon to reward our most active promoters for their hard work. The levels are based on the quality and quantity of your traffic combined. Levels are determined on the first of each month, based on your activity in the previous month.
The levels are: (indication of necessary traffic;
no claims can be made based upon these, since these are just "guidelines")
- 60% Bronze (<2000 clicks)
- 65% Silver (>2000 clicks and good quality)
- 70% Gold (>5000 clicks and good quality)
- 75% Platinum (>10,000 clicks and good quality)
Please do not ask us to change your level. Nighon alone will decide which level you belong to and will place you there. Emails requesting otherwise will be deleted without reply. If you want to be moved up 1 level, all you can do is send us as much quality traffic as you can.
How can I promote your program?
In your account you will find the URL for your portalpage. You don't need to upload code to your own website! All you have to do is send your traffic to this URL!
You may also place our searchbox on your website, as long as this website is not incentive in content or based on a free host. Do not link to any images on our server. All images used by you should be located on your own webspace. Linking to our images causes our site to slow down, which hurts all our members, and is therefor not allowed. Members found linking to images on our server will be banned and deleted.
Do you pay for searches from all countries?
No, Nighon pays for clicks generated from The United States, Canada, Australia, France, The Netherlands, Spain, England, Scotland, Ireland, Wales, Austria, Switzerland, Finland, Italy, Norway, Belgium, Denmark, Greece, Sweden, Iceland and New Zealand
. Searches made through an open proxy will not be credited, no matter which country the search originates from.
Do you monitor our traffic?
Yes, Nighon monitors all traffic. Among others, we check for open proxy traffic and country traffic. If your account is found to be producing searches with an unreasonable amount of open proxy traffic, your account will be deleted. At all times you are responsible for your own traffic. No credit will be given for any search originating from a non-approved country (see above).
I don't have my own webspace. Can I still join your program?
Yes! Just use the portal url you can find in your member area under "affiliates". This portal is pre-made for you and doesn't require you to buy a domain, upload HTML-code or pay for hosting!
Rules
Can I target certain keywords to make more money?
No! Targeting certain keywords is strictly prohibited. Any member who uses this practice will have their account terminated, forfeiting all accumulated earnings. To advertise our program, use the url you can find in your account under “affiliates”, or place our searchbox on your website.
I own an incentive domain name, a domain with incentivized content or a subdomain with free hosting. Can I place your portal there?
No. You don't need your own domain to be a member! You promote your portalpage by sending visitors to the url you can find in your account area, under "affiliates”.
What will happen if I'm caught spamming or cheating?
Any artificial means of generating traffic including, but not limited to, hit bots, multiple clicking scripts, open proxy servers, targeting specific keywords, hidden links, incentivizing surfers in any way or any other similar activity will result in forfeiture of all monies owed and possible deletion of your account. This also includes exchanging searches with other people, as well as begging people to make a search for you. We are not a paid-to-click site. It's no problem if you use your own search portal to search every now and then, but making searches through your own account (almost) daily is not. There is a difference between searching what you need and just clicking to earn. Spamming or any other practice that could reflect negatively on our program is strictly prohibited. Failure to comply with these rules will result in the immediate cancellation of the account from which the clicks were generated, as well as the forfeiture of any funds owed to that account.
Am I allowed to stop using Nighon whenever I want? I do have many referrals who earn me a nice income monthly.
Of course you may stop using Nighon whenever you want. There is no option to unsubscribe, while we automatically delete accounts that haven’t been used for over 30 days. It doesn’t matter how many (active) referrals you have: if you don’t use your account yourself for 30 days or more, it will be deleted. All earnings in the account will be forfeited and you will not be able to get your referrals back afterwards. If you want your account to be removed immediately, please send an email to webmaster@nighon.com.
Am I allowed to voice my opinion about your program?
Of course you are! However, we do have a few rules that need to be followed concerning this. If you have any problems with Nighon or any person associated with Nighon, you need to contact Nighon first. If you have a problem, send us an email. You are not allowed to post any slanderous remarks in any public forum, before having tried to resolve your problems with Nighon. If you act otherwise, Nighon reserves the right to cancel your account. Of course any questions or comments are allowed, as long as they are not in any way slanderous. Update emails sent to you by Nighon concern our members and our program only. All members recieve these emails, so there's no reason for them to be posted on any open forum. Any member found posting our emails in any open forum will have their account terminated, forfeiting all earnings.
Payments
How do I request payment?
When you have a minimum of $5 in your account, a Payment Request button will appear in your affiliate area. When you press this button, you will be paid as soon as possible*. Usually this is within 24 hours, but we guarantee you will receive your payment no later than 3 days after your request**.
Nighon reserves the right to pay out balances over $300 without payment request.
* Provided all affiliate information has been filled in completely and correctly.
** Under unusual circumstances, such as system maintenance, payment may take longer. Affiliates will be notified beforehand if such an occasion may arise.
When will I receive my payment?

How will I receive my payment?
All earnings will be paid through PayPal (no fee) or MoneyBookers (5% fee). No other payment options are available.
